my friends just dropped this song today - head over to their bandcamp and download it, if it moves you or your booty.
this song is loads of fun and it’s been a staple of their live show for a while. It’s a half-joke that sort of caters to the demand for goofy, white-boy funk in live music that we have around here, but these guys do the hell out of it, corny rap verses and all.

I went to the Don’t Stop Please home & studio last night and had the privilege of watching them rehearse for a little while. Actually, I’m not sure it was really “rehearsing” - they kinda just play music all the time. Don’t Stop Please has a show at The Afterthought tonight at 9:00, all you Little Rockers.
Will King from Don’t Stop Please plays a new song, “Blue Hallelujah,” on the way to last night’s show at Stickyz, which was amazing.
on the condition that I not share it with anyone, since it’s rough and they’re perfectionists and stuff like that.
It’s taking everything I have not to share it with you guys, since it’s so good. But I’m a man of my word.
