#KrisAllen is trending on Twitter?

This, while inexplicable, is kind of cool to me.

For those of you who need reminding, (a lot, maybe?) Kris Allen won American Idol last year or the year before. We haven’t seen much out of him since.

But, he graduated from the university I’m currently attending, and grew up here in this town, as well, and while I’m a notoriously big proponent of appreciating where you live, no matter how shitty it might seem, (because it’s probably at least alright) we really aren’t known for anything else, so it’s cool to have at least one famous dude from my school…

right?
