ya hey (paranoid styles mix) by vampire weekend
(from the Japanese issue of MVOTC)
“paranoid styles” is a lyric from the song and my suspicion is that this is a Rostam Batmanglij remix. Also, it’s very good.

turn on the lights (ryan hemsworth bootleg) by future
I’ve come around to Future, thanks largely to Ryan Hemsworth

are you that somebody (hucci gurl trap remix) by aaliyah
this is one of the better remixes I’ve heard lately - it’s very informed by James Blake’s “CMYK: (which also samples “Are You That Somebody”) and I also have to take notice that the remixer is a girl named Hannah from Bowling Green, KY, which is awesome.
they put out the stems for Bon Iver’s “Perth,” so I mixed it down to bare bones, put drums, vocals, and guitars onto a cassette separately, and then recorded them back and mixed them again because I thought it might sound cool, but that’s up to you to decide.
So this is a technically a “remix” in the more conventional sense.

mercy (TNGHT remix) by kanye west, etc.
from TNGHT’s BBC manifesto mix, it’s “Mercy” mashed up with “Furnace,” an old Hudson Mohawke track.
ungirthed (tron parker refix) by purity ring
shouts out to Ben for inspiring me to finish this sophomoric hobbyist’s remix of “ungirthed.”
thinkin’ bout you (ryan hemsworth bootleg) by frank ocean
this Hemsworth fellow knows how to fuck with a track without fucking it up, if you know what I mean

the what (feat. method man) by the notorious b.i.g. (woody remix)
who isn’t tired of Biggie remixes? I know I am.
Once in a while, an exception comes around, though.

mercy (rl grime & salva remix) by kanye west (big sean, pusha t and 2chainz)
After checking out Indaba’s recent remix contest, we realized Usher’s “Climax” vocal worked pretty well on top of a tune we were wrapping up, Get The Crowd Jacked, for our UNDERscore catalog of production music… so we pulled the two together and figured we’d post it here for y’all.
Vocal by Usher.
Track by TheMattSmith.
Playing around with Usher acapellas.
Matt Smith is my hero.
